I recently purchased and love Morphyre Personal and it is actually running fine on Windows 8 using the MS' 32 bit wmplayer.exe.

WMplayer has it's problems and despite configuring around the problems as best I could it was just not reliable enough for use at Parties.

I am now running my playlists through Zulu DJ Masters Edition and am wondering if there is any standalone Video Jockey software available (preferably free) enabling Morphyre to run on a second screen or projector?

I enter the activation code and the product activates.

I exit itunes and go back in and now the product is listed as the free version and I have to enter the code yet again.

The product fails to remain activated.

I have recently discovered Morphyre and I am truly blown away by the visual effects it offers.

OTSAV is my main software format and I occasionally play a mixture of music videos and audio only tracks. I was wondering if you plan on introducing an OTSAV compatible version that would be able morph in when an audio track plays and morph back out when a video plays, all from within the OTSAV DJ program.

I could theoretically use it playing through another window (in WMP or Winamp) but I wouldn't have the benefit of smooth transitions which OTSAV offers, unless of course you could offer any tips on making the transition between programs in extended mode?

I'd like to stream (HDMI) my music (44.1Khz CD quality) as PCM and Morphyre to the receiver, so the receiver will decode the audio and project the Morphyre on TV.
Which one should I purchase, Personal Extra or Pro? I'm looking for the highest resolution, most number of scenes and beat detection and the most trouble free/easy to setup with Windows 7. It'd be a bonus to be able to see the song title when the song begins to play.

What's the resolution differences between Personal Extra and Pro? Which one has a better beat detection?

i´m still fiddeling with the Morphyre Eval / Demo version. But i feel that the audio is not detected properly, since it does not make any difference if I play a track or not (tried media player and vlc) - the visuals stay the same.
Thats totally different with the windowsmedia viz plugin, there it does make a difference.

How do i need to set up Morphyre under win7 to properly react on sound?

haven´t found a hint yet.

Is there a simple way of identifying scenes by name while they are playing so I know which one to reduce. I appreciate they have basic desciptions as their name but not all are that obvious.

After full reinstall of Windows 7 and setup + register Morphyre 1v57, the navigation bar disapear in the full screen mode.

In fact, it becomes invisible: the mouse is reactive while passing on the controls, if I clic on them, they are ok, but I can't see them.

I setup ffdshow_rev4422_20120409 . Maybe is there something with it?

And no matter what, my Windows Mediaplayer won't let me use the Personal features like themes ect.

It DOES work in Media Monkey, but I prefer Mediaplayer.

I'm on Windows 7, home version.

I cannot see how to select which audio input to use to control the visuliser? There doesn't appear to be any kind of settings page, just the few things in the bottom right hand corner, which I also don't understand.

Is there a manual that explains all this?

What happens if parameters are altered??? And what are the default or recommended parameters?


I installed Morphyre on two machines. On one machine there are the entries
Triangles per Frame : 500000
Objects per Frame : 2000

after the install, and on the other machine these entries are:
Triangles per Frame : undefined
Objects per Frame : undefined.

What does that mean? I tried to alter these parameters but could not notice any changing of Morphyre´s behaviour.

Please enlighten the darkness. I`m an ordinary person. Most of those entries don´t tell me anything.

There is no pointer visible on either machine. I noted that when I found the red text strictly by blind"feel", I did get the correct window and inputted my code but it did not give me the "Yes you have upgraded sucessfully" line. I could not tell if I was running the Personal upgrade or not. And one time it did give me the "succesfull" line but after signing off & starting again the "unlocked" line did not show up & it looked like I was back to 1.55 free. I hope this information will help you fix the problems. Bought Morphyre personal back in Nov 2010 and it's been working fine. Yesterday I got an update message so I updated to version 1.55. I had to have a new reg code emailed - Yes I read the FAQ :) I put the new code in and some visuals were downloaded, all was OK.

Tonight, I am getting a "Morphyre has been successfully unlocked" everytime I run WMP. The big question mark says personal version (normal) but the red enter code text is displayed and I can re-enter my code, close WMP, re-open and the unlocked message shows again.

I've uninstalled it from c:\program files to c:\morphyre but that didn't work. My OS is Vista 32 bit

There's a new menu system, but i cannot use it as the cursor is invisible.

Hotkeys are no longer listed. I used to be able to select scenes or effects with my keyboard but now can't.

Have I missed something or is this expected behaviour?

I just bought the personal version, got my key, but trying to update from v.1.17 just doesn't seem to be working for me.

First off I'm running this on Mac OS 10.5.8 (Leopard), and it's probably best noted that my cursor doesn't show on the version I had, no logo to click in the bottom right corner for options, only the locked control panel when clicked.

Well after trying to install the new v.1.51 nothing changed whatsoever, so after some system and iTunes restarts I figured I should uninstall the previous version, by going 'Library>iTunes>iTunes Plugins' and deleting the Morphyre '.bundle' files. I then tried to install v.1.51 again and it's just not installing at all, no new .bundle files in the 'iTunes Plugins' folder, nothing on iTunes either.

Any thoughts as to why this is turning out to be an overly tedious installation?
