I just wanted to express my thanks for allowing us users to experience your coding and vision at such a low cost.. I have been fortunate enough to have witnessed your program/application at a live event. I believe it was a more.. comprehensive version of this software, utilised at a VJ event at the O² arena. Truly a spectacle I will never forget.

I had no idea there was a more.. "user friendly" version available to us.. I thank you for your effort and accomplishment.

I will be sure to recommend this plug-in whenever and wherever the appropriate moment reveals itself.
Thanks again.

I remember reading that you guys are using nVidia cards for development, have you looked into SLI acceleration? I'm only asking because I've -never- seen it in any form of visual, but expanding the available ram by up to 4 times could really unlock some potential.

Hello !!

The soft is nice and not to expensive.

BUT, some points should be made better:

1) Adjust the speeds of the effects, beginning with frozen to maximum speed
2) Adjust of sound level (intensity) from zero to strong,
3) A better Toolbar, my idea, simple without colors,
4) A downloadable help (PDF),
5) Possibility to add own effects,
6) Possibility to add pictures,
7) The point add an effect in the toolbar is not possible.

If this possible ??

Please make followings in the settings:

1) Speed control of the effects,
2) Level control of audio-signals
3) Enable recordings of the user window (area with the actions)
4) Switchable toolbar for adjusting theme, hold a theme, block the changing, display-time of a theme
5) removing of the actual not optimal readable Taskdisplay

Then the soft is really amazing

I'm part of the gp2x community (and also vjforums.com)

You may be farmilliar with the Gp32x, GP32 hand helds (from game park holdings - an open source linux hand held comunity).

I am also a VJ. I am not to sure if you are aware but the Pandora is being released at the end of next month (www.openpandora.org). I am one of the lucky 1st batch orderers and have been following the project since it was first announced a year ago.

The Pandora will run linuix with a ARM processor

Here's a link showing the Pandora using Open GL (using nanoGL)

http://www.kultpower.de/pandoravideos/?vid=133

Other videos to give you an idea of the projects / and power of the Pandora

http://www.kultpower.de/pandoravideos

I would really love to have morphyre on the Pandora as this would allow me to use a portable device at my gigs / parties without having to cart my laptop around. The Pandora supports audio in and also has TV out

I'm not to sure how much you are planning to sell the standalone hardware box (Morphyre pro) but as the Pandora is (2nd batch = expected mid 2010) selling for £200 it would be the perfect solution for you to sell a linux distro(closed source of course)

The VJ [and linux] community would love this! Let me know what you think. I can get a poll over at vj forums and gp2x if you want a bigger voice of interest.

Are there any plans to make a stand alone full feature software version of this available, even if it's a pay-for-use function? As much as the Pro version sounds cool with its own computer and all, I'd be more likely to buy just a software license so I can run it on my laptop at gigs with other programs and able to pick up sounds via line inputs and not reliant on WMP or iTunes. Unless, the current advertised Pro version is going to be cheap enough to be worth having what sounds like another computer in my workspace? At the types of gigs I work at, I barely have room for one laptop and already looking at having a double laptop setup as it is. That's why having a software only option would be a useful option, IMO.
