Stopped Working

Something happened yesterday and Morphyre Personnel Registered quit working, I downloaded the latest version today and it seemed to install ok but it won't work, I'm using Windows 7 and Windows Media Player. I used morphyre for several months with no problem until now. Please Help

Hi,
So the old version stopped working too? How did it stop working, blank screen? Did either version display any error messages?

If you have iTunes or Winamp, maybe you could try running Morphyre in one of those players to see if it's a WMP-specific problem...

Please could you follow the instructions here: http://www.morphyre.com/Debugging
That will give us a better idea what might be wrong...

The old version just quit working altogether, the same with the new version it would not work until last night it started to work on it's own, no intervention on my part. This morning iit won't work again. Where I should see Morthyre in the now playing panel I see the Music listing. Morphyre is not under the Programs file folder, it's under the Program Files (X86) folder and the only JS script is the Key file.

Ahh, I think that's because you have a 64 bit version of Windows, and the new Microsoft Virtual store means you can't actually see the files that are being created - it's a bit of a nightmare.

Try:
* Close Windows Media Player
* Uninstall Morphyre
* Install Morphyre again, but to "C:\morphyre"
* Run Morphyre Once.
* Follow the instructions from that link again

At least then you should see the settings.js file and should be able to get some information on what's happening.

Right now I don't know what the problem is... I doubt it's Morphyre specifically if it's been working just fine previously, and then starts and stops working...

Does Morphyre work in other Media Players such as WinAmp and iTunes?

All I can suggest is to check for new video card drivers from the manufacturer's site as these *may* help matters...
