There's been a bit of a delay since the last update, but we've just released the first version of our Morphyre Pro Software...

Friday 9th April

Site looks sorted now - but we'll see this weekend!

There's a new version of Morphyre out! 1v06. It's got:

Trees Scene, Cylindrical Spectrum scene
New 'warp' backgrounds
Much less jerky scene changes
Various memory/reliability/speed improvements

It's windows-only until next week when I can rebuild on a Mac. If you don't like it, complain to Apple - they will not put Morphyre on their site and will not give us a reason why - hence Mac users make up only 2% of our userbase.

Saturday 3rd April

Again, sorry the site's been really slow today (and even totally broken). Our web hosts put us on a way slower link than we expected and everything is grinding to a halt. We've disabled what we can to keep the speed up, but it'll be a week or so before we can get a new web server with decent bandwidth and migrate everything over to it.

Saturday 27th March

Actually being linked from Microsoft has some drawbacks... It turns out our dedicated server doesn't cope with as many downloads as we'd hoped, so we're sorry to anyone that couldn't access our site today, or got sent a load of e-mails when they tried to register.

Until Fasthosts get back to us, everything's been solved using Amazon's S3 service to host Morphyre's downloads. However every download of Morphyre costs us money now (in addition to the cost of the web server), so if you enjoy Morphyre, please consider purchasing the personal version in order to help support us. Thanks!

We're on the Microsoft website finally! Thanks to Zach for sorting this, as Microsoft's plugin submission site went dead about a fortnight before we got Morphyre online! It's here, right at the top! www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/visualizations.aspx

Tuesday 22nd September

We've finished making a Winamp plugin and have submitted it to the Winamp website. Unfortunately the WMP site for submitting plugins is currently down so we're not holding our breath on that one. On a better note there's been lots of interest in Morphyre Pro and the Advertising site is nearly finished!

It's been a hectic week, not to mention a hectic 8 months, but we are finally ready to launch and we're getting really really excited. Our iTunes and Windows Media Plugins are being submitted to Apple and Windows this evening.
